Day (2) 550 Miles (8:50 hours)
Horseshoe Bay to Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada

7th August 2002

Passed through Niagara Falls, over the boarder into Canada, the riding was not what I expected. All interstate highway, straight and mostly flat, I thought that my tyres would have flat ares down the centre but as they was new it was a bit early to tell, (Bridgestone’s). The last bit was straight into the sun, my visor was covered with bugs galore, after hours of riding, I finally made it at about 8pm at the hotel for a well needed shower and food.

Day (3), 550 Miles (8:50 hours)
Buffalo (USA) to Horseshoe  Bay, Canada

8th August 2002

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Riding the Trans-Canada Hwy – (Highway 1) Well this day was a challenge by riding on a flat, straight highway covering 650 miles, I did think that riding this sort of milage would affect me at this early stage, “O” yes the bum was getting a bit achey, I would think though in a few days of riding high miles I would get the hang of this, so lets see?

I check my tyres and so far the Bridgestones are standing up to concreat flat roads.
